A Little About
Myself
I have been employed for many years as Research Fellow at University of Padova (Italy) where I have been conducting research in different fields. I obtained a Ph.D. in ‘Sociology: cultural and communicative processes’ (2007-2010), University of Padova.
My research interests are mainly focused on intercultural and communicative processes, religion and spirituality, methodology and epistemology of social research, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, Statistical analysis of textual data. "At the moment, I like to define myself as
an interdisciplinary scholar" Throughout my career, I have stubbornly resisted the trend towards hyper-specialization. I have been involved in numerous projects investigating, among others, scientists’s scientific mobility, spirituality of scientists, history of sociology, policy analysis. I think that "interdisciplinary bridge maker" is the leitmotiv and the right keyword to summarize most of my research activities. |
